What a season!The 2025 ski season closed with 62cm of snow still on the ground for the official season end on Sunday 5 October. Lift lines were mostly short, members and guests enjoyed our lodge and the awesome snow conditions – a total of 368cm natural snowfall spread throughout the winter. Sharing photos on Frameo was a hit (thanks Ian) and a lovely way to see friends you didn’t get to see in person. Check out the 2025 season video wrap up created by the Resort. |

Minimum fee free weekendsSpring and summer is an amazing time to visit Falls Creek, so come up when the minimum fee of $400 to open the Lodge doesn’t apply. These are:
EventsAAC National AGMThe AAC National AGM was held in St Kilda on 25 October, with our club represented by Justin Checcucci our Chair, and Secretary, Jenny Hughes. Of note, current office bearers were re-elected: Ian Farrow (Niseko), David Van Beek (Perisher), David Wentworth-Perry (Dinner Plain), Justin Checcucci (Falls Creek), and Adrian Gardiner (Anton). Niseko to host 2026 AAC Interclub Race at Falls Creek on 5 September, immediately followed by AAC Week from 6-12 September. 75th Anniversary lunchOn 19th of October Perisher hosted a luncheon in Sydney to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the Australian Alpine Club. The MC was Roland Everingham from Perisher and Leon Smith of Perisher a living lengend and mate of Charles Anton was awarded President’s Challenge trophy in honour of his contribution to the Club. Green season events are underway and there’s something for everyone, so book in at the Lodge now. Falls Creek has lots of non-snow Activities including hiking and mountain biking trails, boating and fishing. Or you could just come up for a drive! Check out the latest edition of the Summer Insider Guide for all the mountain news. A mural is being painted on the retaining wall below the Lodge by the Resort. Progress photos coming soon. |
