AAC Falls Creek is part of Australian Alpine Club
We operate a lodge at Falls Creek for members and their guests and have access to Australian Alpine Club & Southern Alps Ski Club lodges at other mountains
Australian Alpine Club Falls Creek caters for alpine sports in all seasons. In winter the focus is on alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing . In summer the high plains and slopes provide for sports such as mountain biking, gravel riding, road riding, altitude training and trail running, as well as less strenuous mountain pastimes.
The Australian Alpine Club comprises a friendly group of ski and allied winter sports enthusiasts. Founded in 1950, the AAC is one of the oldest alpine clubs in Australia, proudly fostering a community of ski enthusiasts for over 70 years. The organisation oversees ski lodges at Perisher, Falls Creek, Mount Hotham (Anton Huette), Dinner Plain, as well as a Niseko ski lodge in Japan. In addition to managing the ski lodges, the Australian Alpine Club also organises races throughout the winter season.
The Australian Alpine Club aims to promote competitive skiing, tours, and exploration on skis. We strive to create a welcoming snow community where members can share their passion for skiing while also respecting and preserving the natural beauty of the mountains.
AAC Falls Creek also supports alpine sports in “green season”, including altitude training, mountain biking, road cycling and trail running.
Currently, the Australian Alpine Club has five lodges. Four lodges are in Australia, with the fifth in Niseko, Japan. AAC members get reciprocal booking rates across any of the other lodges, helping you to enjoy alpine sports at a variety of mountains
