Working Bee wrap Check out all the chores tackled at the recent working bee. As usual, our thanks to all who volunteered their weekend and elbow grease to help. If you’d like to join us next year or have trade skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Renovation update Work convert room 7 from a double and bunk single to a twin single room continues apace. The preparation is complete, as shown in the sequential pictures below. Carpenters are currently working to install the new bed frames and shelving (similar to rooms 5 and 12).
The upgrades to the family bathrooms in rooms 13 and 14 were completed in January.

Race Weekend dinner theme The theme for our 2024 Race Weekend dinner has been set to honour the Olympics in Paris… So all of you booked or thinking of booking to race, please also assemble an ensemble with all that is French in mind! Vive la France!!
Membership enquiries paused for 2024 We have an extensive list of potential new member enquiries and applications as a result of pent up demand after COVID. As the list will take some time to work through, the Committee is not accepting new applications during 2024.

With the blast of chilly weather and snow over the weekend, snow making has started (hooray!). Click here to read the Resort’s update.
A new car park has been constructed, located about 400 metres downhill from Orbit.
The retaining wall below the Lodge on Falls Creek Road is finished with a new railing near the front door.
The Resort is hosting the Fight MND Ice Plunge on 1 June at Rocky Valley Lake, Falls Creek. |
