Plenty of rooms available in September

There are still lots of rooms available for Spring skiing and boarding this year before the official season close on Sunday 6 October.

Plenty of events are planned across the Village, including a Retro Theme all weekend for Summit Masters on 7 & 8 September and Oktoberfest on Saturday, 21 September.

Why not check out the Lodge availability and come up?

Club News

Jess continuing in 2025

Our Lodge Manager, Jess McAllister has accepted the Committee’s offer to again extend her tenure for another year until the end of the 2025 snow season.

Jess, Craig, Lucy, Hamish, and Gus continue to be a fantastic (and fun) part of the AAC Falls Creek family since their first season in 2022.

Thanks to Jess and Craig for all you do to make our Lodge and stays great, and we all look forward to seeing you for the remainder of this season and next.

Events

Christmas in July was a very well decorated, fun evening on Wednesday 24 July.

Not only were the room and tables adorned, outfits were coordinated and accessorised with hats and tinsel – great effort!

The mulled wine and festive (substantial) nibbles were reported to be top notch, as you can see from the happy snaps below…

Club Races

Our Race Captain, John Cameron, has requested that all participants renew their Snowracer membership before your arrival for Race Weekend so you are insured.

Just click on Get your SnowID on the right of the top menu and complete the form or create your new SnowID. There is also a link that allows you to look up your SnowID.

The race is now confirmed and scheduled for Saturday, 3 August on Father Fosters.

Awards will follow that evening at the French themed Race Dinner for the Olympic Games in Paris.

Interclub Races are being hosted by Anton Huette at Mount Hotham on Saturday, 7 September.

AFL Grand Final weekend on the 28th of September is a great weekend to come to the snow. Why?

  1. The Falls Creek Hotel runs a charity weekend for the local State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers, and
  2. It’s the best day to ski or board because everyone is in front of a TV watching the footy!!

Introducing… Balcony Cam

None of the Resort snow cams ever show what the snow is like in our part of the Village.

Since we have the best view on the Mountain, we thought we could take some photos on a regular basis through the season so you can check before you come up… or torture yourself!

Just go to the News section in the top menu of our Home page to see how things are looking from our Balcony Cam… (or you can just bookmark this link).

Emergency Contact

Consider adding an Emergency Contact to your Membership in case of an Emergency or illness while you’re staying at the Club. Here’s how…

Reminder – discount cards

We are entitled to use FCAA discount cards from our fellow members around the Mountain – read more to take advantage during your next visit.
