Membership officer Lynn Cameron

After nearly 10 years on the AAC Falls Creek Committee in various roles, Lynn Cameron has decided to step down as Membership Officer. 

The Committee would like to thank Lynn for her time, effort and passion for the Falls Creek Huette.

Minimum fee free weekends 

There are lots of events and activities Falls Creek, and it’s cheaper to come up when the minimum fee of $400 to open the Lodge doesn’t apply.

Upcoming minimum fee free events are: 

• Feastival 13-15 February 2026
• Peaks Challenge 6-8 March 2026
• Easter 2-6 April 2026

Changes and Notices for 2026

A few reminders before winter bookings open to members next month. 

When booking, remember that members must accompany their guests staying in the Lodge and check booking dates for Falls Creek and other AAC Lodges for more info.  

Our Locker Policy has been updated to include a procedure for unfinancial members with lockers. 

We do not accept emails to the Booking Officer with credit card details. Please use the E-Way payment system in your booking email to keep your financial data safe, read how here. 

A Snoring and Sleep Disruption policy has been created to help the Club balance the rights and obligations of members, please review before you book.

This year a trial Spring Snow Guarantee will start from AAC Week (6-12 September 2026) until the end of the season. View details of this and other booking details for 2026.

Reminders:

Annual subscriptions are due on 31 January 2026 (sent 20 November 2025). 

No powerboards allowed for E-bike charging, read the E-Bike section of our Booking Policies so we can stay fire safe. 

Resort News

There are Activities for everyone at Falls Creek and great Green season events, or just come up for a drive… 

Book in at the Lodge now at cheaper summer rates – $36 for a member, $42 for AAC other Lodge member and guests $50 per night.
