Season 2025 starts with a dump

Opening weekend was fully booked.

Lucky visitors were treated to more than 60cm of snow AND first tracks for the season on Wombats.

This was on top of the fireworks, the FCAA Mountain Muster at Icicles, and other Opening events around the village.

Check your diary and book now to take advantage of the early snow!

Remember to check our Balcony cam, first instalment from Sunday 8 June below.

Reminders

To help all members and guests enjoy time at the Lodge, please remember:

  • Freezers will be cleaned out at the end of each week.
  • Turn off heaters when going out to reduce our huge energy bills, operating instructions in all rooms to help.
  • Ski cages are strictly for storage of skis and snow boards only – no clothing, no helmets, no boots.
  • Members are responsible for guests’ behaviour whilst they are staying at the Lodge.
  • We have 4 bins, be vigilant and check the info posters:
    • green – food waste,
    • purple – glass recycling,
    • black – other recycling,
    • red – general waste / landfill.
  • Shower before using the spa or sauna and follow instructions for use, or ask the Manager.
  • No vaping or smoking in the Lodge, on the balcony, or Fire Escape.

Lodge etiquette: put your name on your boots, take out rubbish if it’s near the entry, and help if more wood is needed from the wood store under the kitchen.

Equipment: rice cookers, soda stream, Nespresso machine (BYO coffee pods).

Relax and enjoy – its everyone’s holiday!

Ski Cages – empty by 1 October 2025

Please take all your skis and boards with you on your last visit this season.

There are plans for further upgrades to the ski cages during the 2025-26 summer and the cages need to be empty by 1 October.

Notice of Incident and Complaint

An incident occurred at the Club during the 2025 green season and complaints were received about unacceptable behaviour by a reciprocal member and their guest.

Information was sought about the situation from relevant parties and the Committee decided to suspend the rights of the reciprocal member to book and visit our Lodge, while the guest is no longer welcome.

Our Club is family friendly, and unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.

In light of this incident, all members are reminded that you as the member are held responsible for the behaviour of your guests and that children must be effectively supervised.
