Committee

Our Treasurer is not intending to stand for election again, so we would like to hear from any members interested in serving on the Committee – email Justin at aacfallscreek@gmail.com.

Lodge Storage

Over summer our Lodge Supervisors have been going over a few issues with storage and ask members to consider the following:

Lockers 

Locker space is tight.  Although we’re looking at ways to fit more lockers in, there are plenty of members who would like one.

Anyone who has a locker and doesn’t come up to the Lodge much, or could do without one, please consider giving it back.   

If you had a locker in the past, please check your keychain!  We are missing keys and they are extremely hard to replace.  

Please do not leave items (like ski boots) on top of or next to lockers. 

Attic and ski cages 

A lot of items have been cleaned out of the attic, because this does not comply with current fire regulations.  We understand this has been allowed in the past, and understand any confusion. 

All gear (including boots, skis, helmets etc) from the attic has been photographed and stored for members to pick up this season. 

The downstairs cages are only for skis, poles and snowboards in labelled bags. Please consider other members as we have limited space.

Inappropriate items like helmets, boots and clothing, or excessive numbers of skis and boards stuffed into bags make it very hard to get bags in and out. 

Email Hugh at committee1.aacfc@gmail.com if you can relinquish your locker, to return a missing key, or to claim items.

Mark your calendars, dates for our events this season are: 

• Working Bee: 2-3 May 
• Annual General Meeting: Tuesday 20 May
• Christmas in July: Thursday 24 July
• Club Race and Race Dinner: Saturday 2 August 

Resort News

Feastival has an incredible program this year, it’s on from 28 February to 2 March. Bookings at the Club for Feastival do not attract the minimum Lodge open fee. 

Epic Australia Pass – prices rise and $49 upfront ends 5 March. 

Falls Creek Coaches bookings are open for the 2025 snow season.
