John B (JB) has elected to stand down from the Committee Role of Lodge Supervisor, effective immediately.
The Committee would like to sincerely thank JB for his massive contribution to the Club over the last three years. As well as solving numerous Lodge Maintenance tasks over the last three years, most recently JB was instrumental in devising the Club’s COVID safe operating plan that was released last year and has again been the basis for the updated 2021 plan. Without the COVID safe operating plan, the Club could not have operated safely over the 2021 Green Season and our plans to open for Winter 2021 would have been well and truly behind the eight ball without JB’s expertise and input.
JB was also the lead on the sub-committee that has led to the recuitment of our wonderful new Lodge Manager, Julia Mitas, and was also the lead for our recent Working Bee which now sees the Lodge spic ‘n’ span and in tip top shape for the coming Winter season.
We wish JB and his family all the best and look forward to seeing them at the Lodge this year.
